We are currently looking for a Javascript Developer with expertise in Node.js development, microservices, and Big Data.
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for designing and creating complex software systems, including the development of server-side logic, databases design and integration, and producing high-performance and responsive systems. The ideal candidate will possess a well-rounded set of technical capabilities and a growing passion for the next wave of emerging trends in technology.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, creating and deploying Node.js for microservices
- Making more performant, reliable and flexible infrastructure
- Creating documentation for designed systems
- Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
- Keeping up with new and emerging technologies that may have future use at the company
Requirements:
- Experience working with data-intensive systems
- Experience with microservice architecture
- Proficiency with SQL databases MySql/Postgres/ Redshift
- Experience with NoSql databases BigQuery, MongoDB, Redis
- Proficiency with Docker
- Working with Git version control system, including branching and merging strategies
- Strong knowledge of unit/integration testing, including the art of mocking and writing testable code
- Strong organizational and task management skills
- Team-first approach to learning and sharing knowledge
- Excellent verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in AWS
- Familiarity with web scraping
- Expperience working with data-intensive systems
- Experience setting up and managing CI/CD solutions
